I confirm that Paul Barber, Managing Director and Will Tilney, Sales & Commercial Manager have taken the decision to leave CorrBoard during November 2021 to pursue career opportunities elsewhere. They both leave with my thanks for their hard work and commitment during their time at CorrBoard and my best wishes for the future.

I am delighted to announce however the following appointments with effect from 4th January 2022:

Rob Burgin joins the business as Managing Director reporting to me in my capacity as Chairman. Rob joins us from DS Smith plc where he was General Manager with P&L responsibility for two manufacturing facilities with over 300 employees in Louth. The business had a turnover of £60M in total comprising a 24/7 corrugated packaging site and a £5M specialist manufacturer supplying die cut tooling to the corrugated board manufacturing industry. Previous to his time at DS Smith, Rob has successfully held a number of senior roles in various manufacturing business.

Paul Broderick joins the business as Sales Director reporting to Rob. Paul joins us from DS Smith where he held the position of South Cluster Sales Manager. In this capacity Paul was responsible for the sales functions at 5 production sites, with a total sales turnover over in excess of £150M, and a sales team of 12 account managers. Prior this Paul has worked in a variety of packaging companies, including Linpac , and International Paper.

Nick Montgomery, Technical Sales Manager joined the business in November 2021, reporting to Paul, from VPK Packaging – UK & Ireland. Nick joined VPK as part of the acquisition of Encase in 2020. Prior to joining Encase, Nick held a number of sales roles within the packaging industry.

CorrBoard is at a very exciting time in its development. It is now a stable profitable business with a great foundation to grow to be the most successful, independent sheet feeding business in the UK. These key appointments reinforce VPK’s, McLaren Packaging’s, Swanline’s, Dari-Pak’s and Fencor’s commitment to building for the future to make this a very exciting next chapter in CorrBoard’s evolution.
