CorrBoard challenged colleagues to create the UKs largest red nose from just corrugated cardboard, glue and paint as part of Comic Reliefs campaign to do something funny for money. Within just three hours, the team unveiled a 9m high version of Smirklethorpe! Managing Director Rob Burgin comments: We said that we would create the biggest red nose in the UK and thats exactly what we did. In fact, it was so big that we couldnt stand it up in the factory!
The team raised more than £800 for Comic Relief. The giant red nose was subsequently shredded and sent to partners to be used as raw material to make moulded fibre products.
