Cardboard donation makes all the difference to not-for-profit community organisation in Scunthorpe.

We are pleased to share the news that we have agreed an ongoing partnership with arts-based non-for-profit, The Dancing Tiger Scrapstore, to supply cardboard to be used for art and craft experience days.

Thanks to the first donation of cardboard that was made earlier in the year, The Dancing Tiger Scrapstore was able to include additional activities during its pilot summer activity days, which were delivered to local families throughout the North Lincolnshire region.

Given the success of the initial pilot, The Dancing Tiger Scrapstore now has a calendar of activity dates for families to access throughout the year and CorrBoard has become a strategic partner, offering regular donations of cardboard.

Managing Director of CorrBoard, Rob Burgin, said: “When we were approached by the team from The Dancing Tiger Scrapstore, and they explained the fantastic work that they were planning for local families, we were only too happy to help out with a donation.

“Seeing the pictures from the summer sessions there was no doubt that the families had an incredible time! As a local business, we felt it made sense to provide regular donations to support the great work that the team are delivering.”

Director of The Dancing Tiger Scrapstore, Lucy Hewes, said: “When we approached CorrBoard we hoped that they would provide us with a few sheets of cardboard that we could use. We were overwhelmed when they offered to give us as much as we could get into our van!”

“After sharing the pictures from our summer activity sessions, the team got back in touch and offered to become our partner and to provide regular donations, which is simply fantastic.

“It is welcome gesture and makes a big difference to a not-for-profit like us that is focused on more sustainable ways of working while also trying to manage costs.”
