Award Success for CorrBoard

We are so very pleased to be sharing the news that we have won both the Renewable Energy Generation and Facilities Management categories at the National Sustainability Awards.

Taking place at the Waldorf Hilton in London, the second Annual Sustainability Awards, which were launched to show how our society can, with good leadership, be more sustainable, invited shortlisted companies from a range of sectors to compete for the top spots in their respective categories.

Having already secured three awards at the Paper Industry Gold Awards and Humber Renewable Awards, we were shortlisted in four categories: Renewable Energy Generation; Circular and Recycling; Green Energy Supplier of the Year and Facilities Management.

Commenting on the win, Managing Director at CorrBoard, Rob Burgin said: “What a night! We simply could not believe it when we were announced as winners of the first award, it was a wonderful feeling.

“Then, to be called up a second time to be told we were also successful in the Facilities Management category as well really was the icing on the cake!

“We completely changed our approach at the start of the year with a new strategic direction for the business. Through our intrinsic partnership with CorrBoard BioEnergy, we started to look at what more we could do. It has been a real journey for us all and celebrating this success together makes it all worthwhile.”

Sustainability is at the heart of the business and our focus remains on constant improvement. We have plans in place that will see us invest in eliminating waste and pollution to create the most environmentally efficient manufacturing process in pursuit of a true circular economy. Watch this space.
